Amazon Pharmacy has launched its medicine delivery service throughout India.

Amazon has officially expanded its medicine delivery service to reach every serviceable PIN code in India. On Tuesday, Amazon Pharmacy revealed that its delivery capabilities now include even the most remote areas, such as Port Blair and Havelock in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Leh in Ladakh, Kanyakumari, and Roing in Arunachal Pradesh.

“For our customers familiar with shopping on Amazon, we’ve made the process easy, allowing them to purchase medications just as they do with other essential items on Amazon.in. Amazon Pharmacy enables our sellers to utilize a comprehensive logistics network to provide thousands of prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and health products directly to consumers’ homes—even in the most “remote areas,” said Harsh Goyal, Amazon India’s director of pharmacy, in a press announcement.

In addition, Amazon is offering same-day delivery in over 23 cities nationwide, enhancing the medicine shopping experience. This includes a free consultation service for those who may have lost their prescriptions or have issues with their existing ones.

Through its verified sellers, Amazon Pharmacy provides a broad selection of prescription and non-prescription items, including over-the-counter drugs, medical devices, supplements, and wellness products. Customers can benefit from cashback opportunities, such as a five percent discount for users of Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit cards, and Prime members enjoy free delivery on orders over ₹149.
